I have recently been testing a second Qingping Air Monitor Gen 2 and it’s caused me quite a lot of concern.
Where my initial device (the black on pictured in my initial review) continues to perform very well, this second device (the white one pictured above) has been incredibly frustrating to use. It’s consistently very slow, and it also gets very hot. I’ve tried resetting it, and I’ve tried different USB adapters and cables, but I can’t seem to get the device to be responsive. On top of that, it constantly crashes and loses connection to the app.
I’m unsure if this is just a bad unit, but I wanted to mention this in case anyone else has experienced it. If you have, please let me know! I spoke very positively of the device in my initial review, and I am wondering if I will need to make some updates.
